Chateau Bailey

Recently J and I have had some talks about where to put Bailey's doghouse in the backyard. I agree that it does not really need to be a big eyesore that interrupts the landscaping, etc.
Who really wants to look outside and see some big plastic igloo-looking thing in the middle of their yard?!?!
(The verdict is still out on a little white trash Walmart pool, because I may have to keep one on reserve - you know, just in case Bailey and I need to cool off sometime)

So J mentioned some strategic locations that will be great for Bailey and will still keep the backyard looking pretty.

Then I started thinking -
It's not just the location of the doghouse, it's the STYLE of the doghouse that will also make a huge difference in keeping the yard from looking like the pit at a NASCAR race.
*****
For example, a house like this would NOT look so good in the back yard, plus I don't know how we can insure a tornado magnet. I would worry about Bailey during a storm...

*****
Now, this little bungalow is much better.

The potted plant adds a nice touch,

but I honestly doubt Bailey would keep it watered.....*****
THIS is more what I'm talking about!

Say what you want about Paris, but her dogs live in STYLE!

And it is big enough for Dog Moms and Dog Dads to stop in for a visit.
Bailey would be able to host holiday dinners, poker night and even after-parties!!!......
THAT'S HAWT!!!!

******

But I really think that Rachel Hunter has the most beautiful Canine Castle
for her fur-children.

WOW!!!!
Don't you think that Bailey Bailskins would LOVE this?!?!?!

And the inside is ADORABLE too!

I love the food bowl in the center of the tile floor!! haha!

I think that once it matches the outside of the big house, it could NEVER be an outdoor eyesore!!!

Maybe I should get some plans together, just in case the builder needs them......

OH, WHO ARE WE KIDDING?!?!!?
We know Bailey would be happy in anything,
as long as she can roll in the grass and eat sticks!!!
But a Dog Mom can dream, right?!?!?!
WINK!!

Love this post!! I had no idea that these dogs live better than I do!! Dammit!!! It's a sad, sad day when you realize you'd be better off being Paris Hilton's dog than being yourself. :)

The pro on the trailer is that... if there was a tornado... you know that Bailey would be the first dog the news crew would interview. They always head straight for the mobile homes. It could be sweet Bailey's big break!! :)

Bailey needs her own reality show for sure!

I wonder what she would say to the news crew if she saw a tornado....

Maybe she would sound like a Hick:
"Well, I just got done with my shiftwork and got home from the beer joint and then I hurd this here loud noise...sounded like a gosh-darned freight train. I was so darn skeered, so I dun gone to the big house. Dang, them TARNadoes are just the DEVIL!"

Or maybe Bailey would sound British: "Cherrio Newscrew! I was inside eating a scone and sipping on a cup of Earl Grey and heard the most dreadful noise! I says to meself - I better get to safety! So I hopped on the Tube and rode to the big house!"

Or maybe like a girl off The Hills:
"OHHhhh Emmmmmm Geeeee you guys! I was like so totally freaked out! I thought we were DUNZO! OMG! Like FOR REAL!!!"
