Hot In Herrrre!!!

Oh Nelly, you are so right. It's HOT IN HERRE.

Those of us in the Lone Star State are bracing ourselves for a week of 105 PLUS Temps!!

ALL. WEEK. LONG.

I love summer, but when August rolls around the the heat really turns up, I begin to have dreams of FALL. Those cool, crisp mornings and those wonderful nights where it's just cool enough to need a light jacket.

Ahhhhhhhh..................=)

I'm actually ready for Christmas, because if we go where I think we are going,

it's going to be

Fa-Reeze-Ing! Woohoo!!! Time for a new coat and scarf!!!

This weekend J mowed the lot. I showed up with Breakfast and Bailey - {always a winning combination IMO} - but J did 99% of all the work of course.

I had tons of stuff to do at my house, so I spent the morning organizing and downsizing.

I do NOT know how he did NOT have a HEAT STROKE outside. It was MISERABLE.

But he made it and of course the lot looks EXCELLENT.

The cutest thing was when Bailey and I were heading home and J took off on the mower, Bailey had to chase after him for ONE MORE GOODBYE KISS!

She HATES leaving him.

I practically had to DRAG her back to the car!

She LOVES Justin!

I think she has decided he is MUCH COOLER than I am....=)

Thankfully, we escaped the heat for a little while when we went to Houston's to celebrate J's Mom's Birthday! We had a really good time, and I think she had fun!

OH and the GOOD NEWS is that we think we have FINALLY found THE HOUSE PLAN!! J text me Friday morning to tell me he found a good one.

It is almost EXACTLY like what we have been talking about this whole time.

YESSSSS!!!!!

Obviously, some changes would need to be made, but it is the perfect base and layout.

Definitely a good starting point!

I AM SO HAPPY!

Because house plans mean building will come sooner than later.

And THESE PLANS ARE AWESOME!!!!

And I am SO ready for building to start. I know that building a house is a huge undertaking. J is already so busy, but I know we will get through it and be very happy about the results. I've designated myself as the assistant to help him keep everything organized so we do not forget things or lose a great idea somewhere in the MOUNTAINS of ideas that we have.

Plus, I am so ready for a change of address. For both of us. But really, it will be long overdue to be in a real house, in a real neighborhood and without all of the static that surrounds both of us. BLEH!!

It will take some time, but hopefully everything will work out fine.

And it's just like everything else, PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE!!

I've been learning God has a plan and if we listen, He will tell us the next step!

We just have to be OPEN, because you NEVER KNOW what He has in store for us!

I do NOT have forever in life, so I've really been seeking Him to tell me each day what my next step will be.....

I do NOT want to waste ANY time!!

We only get ONE life and the CLOCK IS TICKING!!!

And I certainly want Him in charge of all of this because, let's face it, He always knows the best thing, even if it is NOT what we "wanted" or "expected".

I guess we will just wait and see what happens next.....=)
