TGIF13!!!

Happy Friday the 13th!!

Today I have decided that I am completely worn out. This weekend could NOT come soon enough. I'm convinced it's the weather that is making all of us so tired all the time. So I cannot wait to have a few days to recouperate and get ready for another great week of extreme heat! =)

I'm hoping for some rest, snuggling, a little yard work and maybe a dinner date this weekend. OH and some skeet shooting. =)

Last night Bailey and I did a power walk in the new neighborhood while J had fun with the chainsaw-on-a-stick. I have to say, she really loves walking there!

I am counting the days until we start and until we finish with this house! Even in the heat, I still have more fun over there than anywhere else. It just really feels like home already. =)

So yesterday morning I woke up to the City tarrring/graveling the street in front of my house. REALLY. They took a PERFECTLY good road (one of the best in town) and completely ruined it.

So when you drive on it now, you get melty tar and gravel bouncing all up in your undercarriage.

There are plenty of other messy roads you could have spent time and money on. You did NOT have to ruin a good road. And futhermore, how does our town have money to ruin roads while at the same time laying off people right and left???

I guess it's good enough for government work.........ugh!
