Friday Favorites

My Beautiful blog friend Tabaitha just listed her Friday Favorites - special moments or things of the week.

So here are Five Friday Favorites!

1. Cooler Nights -

Now, we do NOT know how long these are going to last. And probably, since I just mentioned it, the highs next week will be over 100 degrees and the lows in the 90s. BUT, the last few nights have been FABULOUS. Our walks have been much more enjoyable. Even the sunsets are not as "hot" =). I'm hoping this trend continues.....

2. Accomplishment - I have started a new workout routine for a specific goal/event in December (more on that later). So everyday this whole week I have either been running or at least out walking. I feel better. I sleep better. My skin even looks better. I'm proud that I have gone this far and am very interested to see how good I will look and feel in a month or so.

3. Meeting new neighbors - Last night we met another family in the future neighborhood. We also hung out with my favorite neighbor and had a great time. This is definitely something that makes us both excited. Yet another great thing about getting the heck out of the condo! =)

4. My new jeans - LOVE my new Seven straight leg jeans. LOVE. THEM.

5. Simon - My good buddy Simon hung out with me yesterday. We exchanged Silly/Crazy Bandz and, as usual, talked about life. We discussed how many people have gotten married in his second grade class this week. He also asked me if seventeen was a little young for a girl to have a baby. I said yes!, for him to not even get married until he's 30. (your welcome BaBa).

Then he asked when J and I would get engaged, get married, and get the house finished, etc.

I could not help but laugh because he is just so hilarious and words everything in a way that is so smart and witty.

I appreciated his advice. And I agreed with EVERYTHING he said about all of that!

I love my time with my kid friends. They may be a handful, but I always enjoy their frank honesty and thoughts about life. Adults should really listen to kids more often.....especially my man Simon. =)
