I survived the nasty stomach virus that is attacking many citizens in this fair city.
I even got sent home early from work on Friday by my boss/bestie Lowell. I NEVER miss work for being sick, and he was like "Ok, you HAVE to go home now!" =)
(I am not one of those people who always misses work. That drives me crazy when people can't even show up at their own jobs, especially in this economy!!! I know people who just come and go as they please from their workplaces. They think they get away with it, and in a way they do get away with it, BUT they don't realize that if they were really important, their bosses would make them be there. If you can come and go, then I imagine your boss does not feel you are vital enough to have around, which means he thinks you suck, but probably cannot find a good reason to let you go.)

So after recovering somewhat from Friday, we all went to Houston's for a birthday dinner Saturday night. We were celebrating J's Dad's Birthday. I think everyone had a great time. I was kind of out of it, and spent a lot of the dinner trying to keep the food down! Of course, I ate too much! If you know me, then you know I eat like a horse! (Thank goodness for awesome metabolism!)
After dinner we visited Joseph at NM and I tried on FABULOUS coats for London. (Joseph and I are like "this"!)
OH. My. Goodness. I cannot decide which coat I like the best! We had fun seeing which coats looked the best on me, but I still need to think about which one I really one. I love #3 the most, #4 is very snuggly and I LOVE the design and #1 is just flat out cool.
I know that the numbers doesn't mean anything to you all, BUT if I end up getting one, I will post a pic.
I also found some amazing purple gloves and also am looking for a crossbody bag and boots. =)
Thankfully the rest of the weekend was nice and quiet. I got a lot done, including some of a Jersey Shore marathon....*wink wink*
I was very excited that nutty Sissy was gone ALL. Weekend. Long.
It surely made the weekend brighter!

Here is a little Sunday goodie from the Corsicana HEB.
It appears that some person DRANK out of the LAST cold coke in the soda fridge at the register and then LEFT A PACKAGE OF WEINIES next to the opened coke!!
OMG!
I took this picture and put it on facebook, and lots of us had a good laugh about it.
Then this morning, J told me that the coke and weinies were STILL there at 6:15 AM when he was in the store!! lol!
I guess the HEB cleanup people did not come to work last night!
I know this is entirely random, but whatever, my whole town is random.
