"Paris in Black and Light"

Justin took all of these pictures with his Leica M8, from the window of our taxi cab while in the rain.

The cab driver was wonderful, always letting us stop and take pictures. He even cleaned the window for J a few times.

Although I think the rain drops in the pictures add a special effect.

We had a very long tour of Paris that night so we could see the city in all her glory.

It was honestly the best night of my life.

I nearly cried four times. No kidding.

Out of everything that I have ever done in my life, this evening is at the top of the list.

I have never seen anything so breathtaking.

Paris is endlessly romantic, and it was the best surprise of the trip. I had no idea we would spend three days here.

I guess I can thank the blizzard of 2010 that allowed me to see the most exquisite city in the world - with Justin, the best travel partner ever!
