As of midnight tonight,
I will be cleared by my Eye Doctor to wear contacts again!!!
HALLELUJIAH!!!
Last week I had a terrible pain in my right eye which left me unable to really see or even keep my eye open. Thankfully Dr. R was able to see me first thing Thursday morning and he said I had a pretty bad abrasion as well as an infection, due to some bacteria or allergies, etc.
GROSS.
So I've been pumping my right eye with steriod drops faithfully since then.
Thankfully by the Friday morning I was already feeling much better.
I say all this to make two points:
1. It is INCREDIBLE how quickly the human eye heals!
I literally could tell HOURLY how it was improving.
Truly amazing. God is pretty smart in how He does things. Seriously.
AND
2. I could not imagine life without sight!!!
Ohmygoodness!!!
It was killing me to not be able to fully function.
God Bless anyone who has lost their vision.
Eyesight is truly a miracle AND a gift!!!
SO yay for my eyeball being better.
And yay for being able to put these OLD glasses away and get back to contacts!!
I think I should go ahead and get a better pair of glasses with an updated prescription.
A pair that I can actually SEE OUT OF,
as well as a pair that doesn't make me look like a complete dork from 1999. =)

I had no idea you were having such problems with your eyes.... :( YUCK!
There are so many things that we take for granted until we can't use them or they're hurting.
GLAD YOU'RE BACK ON TRACK!!
(I had Lasik almost 10 years ago and think I'm about to need glasses for driving at night. And I'm with you... I need an updated prescription and MUCH CUTER frames. LOL)
