Anyhow, she came with bags of presents, including J's favorite chocolate in all of the whole universe, Le Notre. And friends, Le Notre chocolate really is the best I've ever had. We went to one of the shops in Paris while we were there. So cousin P made sure she brought plenty for us!
Also, she gave us this book!!!!

"French Children Don't Throw Food" by Pamela Druckerman!
I was so exited!!!!
And P met Pamela Druckerman and had her sign it for us!
LOOK!!!

This book is all about the Parisian way to raise children, which I am fascinated with. I've already read several chapters of this book and I highly recommend it. Parisian mothers have a way of approaching discipline (which they call education) that I find very smart. They also raise children to entertain themselves, behave well in public and generally be able to deal with being told "no" much better than some American kids. It is an overall mindset that is so intriguing to me.
And I just LOVE that cousin P gave us a signed parenting book and made sure the author wrote to both our names! I think we all know what this means........ ;-)
